Kevin Bacon Earns Recommendation From Franklin County Republican Party Screening Committee
County Central Committee Will Vote on Endorsement Tuesday
Columbus, OH (2/23/18) – Lifelong conservative Kevin Bacon received the recommendation from the Franklin County Republican Party’s Screening Committee for the endorsement of the Central Committee in his campaign for the seat being vacated by Congressman Pat Tiberi.
“I’m honored to be recommended for this endorsement,” Bacon said. “I told the screening committee where I stand on the issues and outlined my path to victory. They recognize I’m a capable conservative and recommended me. I will respectfully ask committee members to ratify the committee’s decision.”
The county central committee will consider the recommendation before their endorsement vote Tuesday.
Bacon was endorsed by the NRA and Ohio Right to Life in every one of his statehouse elections. According to lifetime ratings from the American Conservative Union, the organization that sponsors CPAC, Kevin Bacon is the most conservative legislator in the race.
Kevin Bacon is a life-long conservative running for Ohio’s 12th Congressional District. He currently serves in the Ohio Senate, representing portions of Franklin County. He is a small business owner and dedicates his free time to causes benefiting children and people with disabilities.
