Republican Kevin Bacon for Congress announces Multi-media Buy

Media to Highlight Bacon’s Conservative Voting Record

Columbus, OH (4/9/18) – Conservative Kevin Bacon today announced a large district-wide media buy today totaling $150,000.00 spanning radio, broadcast and cable -- starting this week and running through the primary election, May 8th.

“We’re excited to roll this out,” campaign manager Lucas Denney said. “We’ve been knocking doors across the district and advertising with targeted digital ads for weeks. This next advertising campaign will increase our reach dramatically.”

The advertising is produced by Ohio political consulting firm Politics Counsel (the media strategists behind the upset wins of Congressman Bill Johnson and Congressman Brad Wenstrup). Denney is a veteran operative having managed races for several Ohio candidates including NRCC Chairman Steve Stivers.

Over the last few elections cycles, Kevin Bacon has already aired several million dollars of political media, far outpacing any of the candidates in the race. He’s been elected in tough districts in the House and Senate for the past decade, winning races with challenging indexes. Bacon already has the greatest amount of name recognition and earned the endorsement of the district’s largest Republican county party – the Franklin County Republican Party, as well as Ohio Right to Life.

“Kevin has the most conservative voting record of any candidate running,” Denney said. “Our ads will remind voters of that fact.”

Kevin Bacon is a lifelong conservative running for Ohio’s 12th Congressional District. He currently serves in the Ohio Senate, representing portions of Franklin County. He is a small business owner and dedicates his free time to causes benefiting children and people with disabilities.
